Japan's 'muscle girls' are challenging beauty norms and femininity

At an underground bar in a busy neighborhood of Tokyo, roughly a dozen women in sportswear stand behind a bar, their chiseled frames on full display as they dance and crush grapefruits with their bare hands. Muscle Girls, a fitness-themed bar staffed exclusively by women, has been a hit with foreign tourists and domestic patrons alike as it challenges Japan's conventional concept of feminine beauty.
